Du Transfer Process
Follow these steps to transfer your Du internet and TV services smoothly
Contact Du Support
5-7 days before moveCall Du at 155 or visit du.ae at least 5-7 days before your move. You can also visit a Du store in person. Have your account number ready.
Submit Transfer Request
4-5 days before moveProvide your new address, preferred installation date, and current account details. Du will check service availability at your new location.
Schedule Installation
2-3 days before moveOnce approved, Du will schedule a technician visit for your new address. Morning slots (8 AM - 12 PM) are usually most available.
Equipment Return/Transfer
Moving dayReturn equipment at old location or have it transferred. The technician at your new home will set up router and TV boxes.
Service Activation

Yes, you can keep your current package, phone number, and email when transferring. This is the advantage of relocating vs cancelling and getting a new connection. Your contract terms and monthly rate remain the same. You can also upgrade during the move if desired.
Some Dubai buildings have exclusive agreements with Etisalat only. Check with your new building management before signing. If Du is unavailable, you'll need to cancel your Du contract (early termination fees may apply) and sign up with Etisalat. Our moving team can advise on this.
Usually no - the same equipment transfers with you. The technician will pick up from old address and install at new address on the same visit when possible. If you have an older router, Du may provide an upgraded one. Keep equipment safe during the move.
